I have been using the vegas 10 for a while. I use the included buttons to created nice outlines of the button to highlight against photo background.

However, it seems all the buttons are 4×3 even when I am working in a 16×9 project.

I was hoping vegas 11 would have 16×9 buttons, but they are the same as 10.

Am I doing something wrong and these buttons can be converted to 16×9 somehow?

Or can you point me to where I can get 16×9 buttons?

    Thanks

You can try modifying the existing ones.
I’m on XP and the button images are found in C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Sony\DVD Architect Pro\5.2\Themes
Each theme has several images that you’d have to modify.

You can right click on the button and select make graphic actual size. Then you can resize it including the aspect ratio.

    Very cool,

    That is a neat trick.

Is there any way to save that new aspect ratio button?

This looks like it would be good for one or two, but not for redoing all my buttons all the time.

I think you can set up your background etc. and save it as a theme.
You could recall the theme with the 16×9 buttons and start from there.
You can also create some 16×9 buttons in Photoshop or Photoimpact etc. and import those.
