Seriously, you’re asking us if anyone here has an NDA with Apple that they would like to violate and announce when the new Mac Pro is going to ship? Nobody who does know can speak publicly.
If you need a new Mac Pro today, purchase it today. If you want to wait until the very least minute, then wait. Understand that these machines will be the most expensive machines so look at the top of the line Mac Pro today, configure it the way you want it, and see if you want to spend that much on a new machine keeping in mind it might be a bit more expensive.

That is to be used as a “rule of thumb.”
Like Walter said if you need something now to get work done now, get what you need. I you just want to get a one system or it would be nice to have something faster but you can get by with what you have, I would wait it out. Even if you don’t go with the high end, what is high end now will be middle of the road on the next release and will drop in price.

Acualy Walter I just got back from the bar and as it happens s Apple engineer was field testing the new Mac Pro and he acedentlay left it there. It was cleverly disguised as the existing Mac pro but once you look inside it’s definitely different.
Anyone know the number for Gizmodo im thinking of selling the thing.
