  • Any new Point Level Animation Additions in 9.5?

PLA seems like it could have such great potential if there were a way to have access to f-curves when animating points on a mesh. Just wondered if ver. 9.5 addressed anything to make PLA more powerful? If not, I’d be curious to know if anyone knows if Maxon is addressing this in upcoming versions. Also, does anyone know if Modo has good animation parameters for animating meshes directly in Modo since C4D seems to fall short when it comes to PLA.

    thanks

If you have Mocca you can use Posemixer to animate points, and you have access to f-curves with Posemixer. There are several morphing plugins that can probably do the same thing.

Thanks Adam for your reply. Seems like a bit more work and setup. But probably works that way. Thanks for suggesting that.

It’s a bit more work on the front end, but it’ll save you a *lot* of time if you have to make any changes at all.
