Any known issues on machine running XP media Center SP 2? PPro 2.0
I am trying to methodically go through and find out what is causing my issues with errors coming up on this machine.
– Genuine Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005
– AMD Athlon(TM) 64 X2 5000+ dual-core – 2.6GHz
– 4GB DDR2-667MHz dual channel SDRAM (4×1024)
– 500GB (2×250) 7200 rpm SATA Hard Drive
– 400 GB 7200 rpm HP Personal Media Drive
– LightScribe 16X DVD+/-R/RW SuperMulti drive
– 9-in-1 memory card reader, 2 USB, 1 1394, audio
– HP stereo speakers with subwoofer
– 802.11 b/g Wireless LAN PCI Card
– Single NTSC TV tuner with PVR, FM tuner, remote
– 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS, TV-Out and 2 DVI
– Integrated 7.1 channel sound w/front audio ports
– Motherboard: ASUS A8M2N-LA
Because the computer is under warranty HP replaced the motherboard, and We did get a heavier duty power supply since the stock one was only 350W.This project is 2 30 Minute TV shows culled from an 80 minute multicamera segment. It is only SD.
The latest thing is straight crashes where I lose an hour or so of work because autosave is not working. The errors seem to change though but yesterday for example I had…. Please note that this is the first time I started having runtime errors. The runtime errors came up when I used the titler.
Runtime error!
Program…iles\adobe\premierePro20\AdobePremierePro.exe
-abnormal Program TerminationRuntime error!
Program…iles\adobe\premierePro20\AdobePremierePro.exe

-Pure Virtual Function CallError Compiling Movie
Unknown Error\Adobe premiere pro is running very low on system memory. Please save your project and procede with caution.
From looking at the system requirements the two things that could be an issue are the OS since it is media center edition and the NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS. However since the new power supply the graphics card is behaving great. Could the OS cause phantom issues since there maybe minor compatibility issues? Has anyone ran 2.0 with media center edition?
Thanks and Merry Christmas…
