Any iPad control surfaces to drive After Effects?
Hello.
I have a much-underused iPad, and wondered if anyone knows of any AE-interfaced controller apps. There seem to be plenty of jog/shuttle controllers for Premiere and FCP, and many audio/MIDI control apps. Either something tailored specifically for AE, or, even better, something that’s completely customisable would be great.
The obvious massive disadvantage of any touch-screen controller is the absence of any tactile feedback, so I might find that using an iPad as a replacement for tried and tested keyboard shortcuts is a complete waste of time; if you ask me, I don’t necessarily know what the keyboard shortcuts actually are for a lot of AE’s functions, but my left hand instinctively just “knows” where on the keyboard to press! So an iPad controller might be a complete waste of time, so I’m not willing to fork out much for one.
Anybody know of such an app?
