I have only seen a small amount of footage, some seemed to be at a convention, a bunch of middle aged white guys under Mercury Vapor lights, bad stuff. The other stuff was super controlled highly lit.

    I would like to see,

Int day with lights/and available light
    Int night with lights
    Ext day no lights
Ext day just some fill light
    Ext twilight
    Ext Day hand held

Some urban stuff and some nature stuff.

The subject for the int stuff might be someone reading, going up some stairs, in the bathroom, at the mirror, drawing a bath, playing with a dog, painting inside or out. Walking through a botanical garden. Shots of someone driving a car INT EXT. A walk through an art gallery. Someone flaging down a taxi…

I could go on but you get the idea.

There’s some footage from a guy in Japan. Go over to http://www.dvxuser.com and check it out.

Some of it has been recompressed but there are some direct outputs from FCP there where you can get an idea what the camera can do.

Of course, if Luis would consider posting some of his test footage in original MXF format, (or anyone else for that matter) that’d be fantastic. I can’t stream from my server but I’d be more than happy to host the clips for download.

Good stuff there, answered some of my questions.

There seems to be a consistent focus issue, looks like operator error since things on one plane are in focus and the subject is not on that plane.

Thanks for the direction to that place.
