Just sucked it up and upgraded to the latest and newest version and am floundering a bit with Motion. I can get some of the basics, but I’m sure there is faster ways of doing it (whatever that may be), and I know that I’m missing a lot, so I’d love to know all. Been using FCP for years, understand basics of 3D but probably not all. Anything good out there to learn? Or more important, what tutorials/books/DVDs were NOT WORTH IT?

When you’ve got family, everything else is extra.

I agree – lynda.com rules! $25 a month is a great investment – especially considering the price of the upgrade – get your money’s worth!

My 3 favourite training resources for Motion 3 are
Mark Spencers Ripple training DVDs and the Peachpit
Motion 3 apple certified book. Theres a lot to learn in Motion 3
and I think its like the fast/good/cheap triangle – you know
    pick any 2….

    Best Regards
