Any free apps that do what clipwrap does?

I could mention a couple, but their names bring up the censorship warning on the Cow…because they spam the site a lot, and are simply unreliable.

Google this: free avchd converter for mac

Try them…see what happens. If they suck, pony up and buy the one that works because someone took the time and effort to make it, and make sure it works.

Thanks. I’m in one of those situations where a client comes in with home camcorder stuff and balks at paying for Clipwrap. I’m not authorized to buy it myself. To get it installed is usually a 5-week paperwork-intensive process, if I go by the book.

Educational/government employer? Lordy. And you can’t say “I cannot do this job at all…I’m stuck, stalled…until we spend $50 to buy this app. I cannot do the job at all without it” and have that get the ball rolling?
