October 26, 2008 at 9:50 pmSure!!! Get a new hard drive, do a fresh install of Leopard and FCS on that drive and putr your old one up on the shelf for safe keeping if you have a problem. A fresh install is always better than an update over the top of the old version, and you laways have the Tiger version as backup in case you forgot about some files when migrating.
Also, after installing Leopard, do all of the automatic updates and reboots until you get a message telling yu that your software is up to date. Then install FCS2 and keep updating that until it too gives you th eall software is up to date message.

You know Stu, every once in while you’ll get a response around here that’s pretty much “definitive.” This was one of those times. I assure you, there’s no need to waste any additional bandwidth.
