Any AE 6.5 to 7.0 gotchas or issues?
We finally bought AE 7 upgrade – I’m going to wait til the end of my current project to install it – but I’m sure we’ll have lots of 6.5 after effects files that I’ll have to open in 7.
Has anyone come across any issues loading 6.5 files into 7? I know I need all the same plugins installed, but other than that?

No problems here.

Always a good idea to check that, yes. Trapcode, and possibly Tinderbox or Sapphire come to mind.

Also Boris Continuun Complete 3.0 has some filter that don’t work well (if at all)…upgrading to 4.0 costs $249. Also Digial 3D Assistants need to be upgraded. All in all it gets a little expensive.

No upgrade issues for Sapphire between AE 6.5 and 7.0; install the latest version from our web site (www.genarts.com) and you should be all set.
