anton bauer mount for ex3/ more balanced?
Has anyone tried this to better balance the ex3. i would more want to go this route than use one of the various shoulder mount rigs out there.it still keeps the overall package compact withouth haveing to carry the shoulder mounts around with you. it seems it would certainly balance the cam more taking away some of the front end heaviness.

..I have one always attached to my EX3… very good balance with a Dionic battery (and looks “pro” also) … best value for the money.. and you have one Dtap connector (that I use for power litepanels sometimes) … it looks and feels as if always was part of the camera … one minor note: don´t turn your camera “upside down” …the plate doesn´t “click” on the original battery compartment so it may falls down (altough, who treats the camera that way ?)…

The ‘V’ mount batteries lock in solidly, and you also have the tremendous benefit of 4 hirose power taps (for wireless receivers or other accessories) and 2 D-tap power sockets for lights. You don’t need a shoulder mount with this adapter, but it actually makes the camera more balanced (I use the DM Accessories baseplate–STRONGLY recommended–with shoulder mount) especially if you want to piggy-back two V-mount batteries.
