    Despite the fact I can almost guarantee a load of people following this reply stating otherwise…. NO- you don’t need it. Yes there are a few reports around, but ignore them.

    I’ve been running the same system for five years with absolutely no protection and no issues. I’ve tried to get a Mac virus: it’s not going to happen.

    My work PCs, on the other hand…

    Anti virus software causes more problem then it will ever find on a Mac.

    Avoid it.
