A colluege of mine was talking about anti reflective spay that one can purchase. He said that it can be applied to almost anything, and will minimize or completly remove light reflecting off of any surface. does such a spray exist? if so where could i get some?

we have a large wooden podium in a auditorium which has a reflection spot we would like to get rid of, with out damaging the finish.

    Thanks

You just need plain ol’ industry standard Krylon dulling spray.

Spray it on, shoot, wipe it off.

Just make sure you get Krylon … there are several knock-off brands out there that are very poor products … don’t spray on evenly, don’t come off of some surfaces they should cleanly and/or just don’t work.

Some dulling sprays can damage certain finishes, test first on a small sample area.

BTW, you can use a dry-spray type anti-perspirant as a dulling spray, on flesh like bald spots, as well as other objects, and because it is water-soluable, you can remove it with a damp rag when you wrap. Also usually less objectionable smell than some dulling sprays.

Also, do not inhale dulling spray before voting:-)

The last time I spayed someone, she was not only anti-reflective – she was pretty indignant.

LOL I didn’t even notice the typo, but love the COW for the poignant humour as much as the knowledge … especially that Mark Suszko … I still think you’re a funny guy, Mark. ;~)
