  Another system spec

  Loads of threads like this I know but I’m speccing out a new AFX system for my boss and just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions.

  What I’m tentativly looking at right now is:

  mobo: SUPERMICRO H8DAE
  cpu: 2x AMD Opteron 670 2.0GHz
  RAM: 4x CRUCIAL 1GB DDR PC3200 400MHz 184-PIN UNBUFF 128MX64 Memory Modules
  GFX: Asus ATI X1600Pro 512MB PCI-E
  HDD: Western Digital Raptor 36.7gb Sata 10krpm 16mb Cache <- for system files HDD2: Maxtor 6V200E0 200GB SATA300 7200rpm 8MB Cache 2 19" TFT monitors Haven't thought about case yet. Guessing I need a pretty serious PSU. So there's some serious kit there. What I want to know is if it's all necessary. Would running 2 gfx cards in SLI give any real boost?
