Another Stupid question…
Ok here goes…I’ve been playing around in my Prefs…. V5
now when i save a project …and turn on (Copy and trim Media) all my .AVI’s have seperate audio .wav files …
I use this to be able to save all my projects to DVD data..so i can reEdit them again if agait if a client changes his mind…( which does NOT happen often… 😉 )
If i remember.. i used to only have .AVI with the sound within the avi…???any one know what i did to turn this on and how i put it back to only one file and not two!?!?!?

it the way copy-trim works .. you can’t turn it off other then don’t use copy/trim …

If you want to keep the audio and video in a single AVI file, you’ll need to use the standard “render as” command. as donatello said, using that feature will give you the video in an AVI file and the audio in a separate WAV file.
