    Another slow render post…

    It’s taking me about two hours to render a 12 minute video. I feel like something is wrong. I have an Intel core i7 (8 cores) with 32 gigs of ram.

    I have one main 1080p video with some 1080p grunge videos and some motion text stuff overlayed for about 1 minute of the entire vid… It speeds up after I get past the grunge stuff, but it’s still slow.

    Is this just something I have to learn to deal with?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    PS I am also getting an error preventing me from rendering it… but that’s for another post!

    Can you go to After Effects > Preferences > Memory & Multiprocessing and share you settings there with us?
