    Another short-cut query in Premiere Pro CS6

    Hello

    Does anyone know if there is a way – and a shortcut – to cut a selected clip (not using in and out points, just selecting the clip) in order to paste it later AND at the same time close the gap left (ripple delete)?

    (/)will mark the selection and (‘) will extract the clip, close the gap and put the clip on your clipboard for pasting.

    Throw in (D) for select clip at playhead and it becomes a pretty quick operation.

    I’m not sure I got the last thing you mentioned though, about (D) – would you mind to clarify?
