    I created my DVD!
The problem is it took 13 hours to render the video to mpeg2 format then I had to ‘build’ then ‘burn’ the DVD using DVD Architect4…

As I was looking for a easier way to do this.

I tried rendering the video (that took 13 hours using the preset DVD NTSC with mpeg layer 2 audio) with no audio using the preset setting DVD Architect NTSC Widescreen video stream w/ no audio and it took less than 3 hours for the 57 min video to complete rendering.

Then I rendered the audio in the .ac3 format and that took 45 min.

I created the look I wanted on DVD Architect with all my chapters, menus, etc., but I can’t figure out how to get audio on the dvd.

Here is what I’m looking at…

I dropped the video without audio into the menu and created all my chapter links… when I double click on the video it appears in the timeline with all the markers and no audio under it.

So now can I just add/”drop” the audio to the audio track under the video? After that it looks like I could just burn the dvd.

If so, this way seems to easy and a lot fasted!
If I can do it this way it will save hours!

If this is the case I am going to render all videos for DVD without audio and create the audio separate as a .ac3 file.

The next time you do this, give the audio the same name as the video (e.g. donnie.mpg and donnie.ac3), render both to the same folder and the audio will automatically be added in DVDA.

“So now can I just add/”drop” the audio to the audio track under the video?”

Yes but make sure you do it for all your chapter links, sub menus, etc.

“If so, this way seems to easy and a lot fasted!

It’s the recommended way of doing it 🙂
