    ok. check-check it.

a man runs into frame. as he runs into frame, he bursts into flames.

i made vector paint of 160 frames of video. exported on the paint as a tiff sequence.

the reason i did this was to use the alpha channel as a track matte sequence for particlellusion.

but. the problem was that i couldnt seem to get the darn alpha channel in the tiff sequence: i had to open EVERY picture in photoshop and add the alpha channel, copying the info from the RGB.

it worked, but there MUST be an easier way.

    please? anyone?

    thanks,
    hunter

Knoll Unmult, Walker Alpha Tool or most simply you could have started out telling your brushes to als work on Alpha and use a respective output module in AE…
