Another Multi-cam sync issue
I have a multi-clip from two cameras: Panasonic HMC150 and a Canon DSLR. I changed the frame rate of the canon from 30fps to 29.97 fps to match Panasonic in cinetools. I synced them up to a clapper slate and the sound is synced at the beginning of the multiclip. But then, the longer you go into the multi-clip, the more out of sync it becomes. The sound is running through the Panasonic clip.
Any thoughts on this?

Makes perfect sense.
You have slowed down the Canon footage by 0.1 %.
Thus, cut out an (unwanted) frame every 66 seconds from the Canon stuff, and you should be in sync again.Bouke

Only problem…I don’t know how to do that?
Do it in the FCP timeline? But once the clip is joined as a multi-clip, not sure how to delete frames.
Or do I put the one canon clip in the timeline by itself, do the deleting of frames, then export as another clip, which I’d then import again and use as a multi-clip with the other cam’s footage?Thanks again…

Exporting a clip with frames cut out is an option, but, make sure you cut out the frames on places you’re certain you’re not going to use.

It all depends on your workflow / way of shooting.
I cannot decide what’s good for you.
I can however tell you that my previous math was wrong.
You have to cut out a frame every 33 seconds…Bouke
