Another image buffer question
OK I think I probably already know the answer to this but here goes…
I am trying to render (and pre-render for that matter)a rather large comp and I continue to get the error message (After Effects cannot create a 6000 x 3000 image buffer 7 :: 39).
In the interest of full disclosure, this comp has 444 layers, 12 of which are lights, probably 250 or so are solids and 2 cameras, a few nulls (and a bunch of non-effected solids that are acting as place-markers).
I have been working with this comp for a while, and this is the first time I’ve had this problem. I just tried to animate about 83 of the solids at he same time which are rotating and scaling a few times over a couple seconds. It gets about half way through that animation and gives me the error message. The comp is 720×480.
What can I change? Is it just TOO MUCH stuff for After Effects to handle at once?… I’m pretty clueless so any help would MUCH appreciated!! Thanks!
