Another Cinewave to LHe convert
Just bought new MacPros and LHe cards, to get off our G5s with Pinnacle Cinewaves. I read that Cinewave was supposed to read under FCP 5.1 with the 10-bit codec, but it doesn’t. I’ve tried changing the sequence settings to use the 10-bit AND the 2uvy codec just to see if it would work and it doesn’t. I’ve searched and searched on here, and thought I was following the recommendations. However… it still doesn’t work.
Also, another strange problem. On an export, when we try to change the video codec, you hit the button and nothing happens. It just looks at us like we’re stupid. Any one know what that’s about?

I’ve just setup a Kona3/MacPro/FCP 5.1.2 and I managed to read Cinewave clips (SD/HD) using the Kona 2vuy codec. Nothing specific that needed to be done.
