ANNOYING!!!
Can I uninstall the Media Manager & be ok to continue using Vegas 6?
I Do not use it – and all it seems to do is lock up windows & make trying to navigate around folders & drives on my computer EXTREMELY slow. I know it is something to do with Vegas 6 since EVERYTIME this happens as soon as I close Vegas – no more sluggishness. Does not happen w/Vegas 5. I’m assuming it is the media manager causing this pain in the royal ass . . .

Preferences > General >uncheck ‘enable media manager (3rd from bottom).
If that doesn’t do it you can also uninstall Sony Media Manager and Microsoft SQL Server.
