Ok so I finally got my first HD video uploaded to the web and the picture looks great: https://vimeo.com/15361400

however, there’s these annoying jittery lines throughout the video that disturb the viewing process.

    Here’s what I’m working with:
    Filmed in HD 1920 x 1080/24p
MacBook Pro/ Final Cut Studio 7.0.1
Edited in Apple ProRes 422 (LT)
I then exported a quicktime self contained mov file and put that in compressor. I used the following settings:

    Quicktime h.264
    Frame Rate: Current
    Key Frames Automatic
Data Rate Restrict to 5000 kbits/sec
    Frame size 1280 x 720
    Pixel aspect 1.00

And for deinterlace I put progressive and better. I thought this would solve the problem (even though I shot with a 7D which shoots progressive anyway) but it did not.

    Thanks for the help

Hmm, where are you seeing these jitter lines?
With a music video it’s hard to tell if something is an effect but it generally looks progressive to me. Only odd stuff I see is in the heavily effected clips.

A good example is from 2:08 to 2:12 it gets extremely jittery and there’s no effects on that clip. Maybe I need to view it on a different computer.
