Annoying audio out of sync problem after render.
To help troubleshooting, it best for me to give lot of information as possible, so I hope someone can help me with this problem.
What I’m trying to do : I want to make a guitar cover video and post it to youtube.
1. I recorded of my cover in real time simultaneously for audio and video.
2. The video was recorded using my android phone(Lenovo S820) at 1080p setting.
3. The audio(guitar sound, .wav file) was recorded using my pc, directly from Guitar Rig software. (not actual amp)
4. Combining them and sync the video/audio in vegas.But somehow the audio (or video) are not 100% in sync after render, to be exact, the video play normally at first, but started playing faster than the audio after a while, not much, just slightly out of sync but noticeable during fast shredding, just imagine the finger picking are fast yet no shredding sound played, and after 1.5 second, the sound arrive.
The video ARE fine in vegas timeline and preview, very perfectly sync, but everything messed up after render.
What I have tried to fix it
1. Change the project frame rate to 23,976, and use the 720p 24p .wmv render preset, and then customized it to 23,976 frame rate and render it.
2. Match the project to the video frame rate, and render it using matched project setting.
3. Convert it to something else first, such as wmv or avi and then sync again from the start using vegas.
4. Use the elastique stretch thingy.
5. Use the Disable Resample for the video.
The video detail, I don’t know how to copy it anyway. So I will just type it.

Data rate : 24113kbps
Total bitrate : 24242kbps
Frame rate : 30 frames/second (in vegas, this clip show 30,010 frame rate)The video Audio :

sample rate : 48 kHzI really need help on this problem, I already record 5 different song, yet I can’t do anything to fix this before posting it. And very sorry for my terrible english 🙁

I would try converting the video to 1920×1080 29.97fps MP4 before you edit with it in Vegas Pro. I’m not sure how well Vegas Pro handles 3gp files or variable frame rates but I’m guessing that this is your problem.
I would also stay away from WMV files. Vegas cannot handle the audio in a WMV file natively, it must make an audio proxy. WMV is an old outdated format. Just don’t use it.

I did what you said.
1. I convert the .3gp file to mp4 using Any Video Converter, to 1920×1080 reso, and 29.97 fps.
2. Sync in vegas, everything looks fine in preview.
3. Render it using NTSC DV preset.However, the rendered video come out as motion blur. I can see the motion blur when my finger moving during guitar playing.
4. So I right click the clip, properties and tick Disable Resample and re-render it again. Also I put Field Order as None(in properties and render preset setting).
The video rendered fine. But the delay is still there, only this time it is not so much noticeable. Even I myself can’t see much when the audio delayed, but I can sense it. It’s like my finger movement and the sound are not logical enough to looks like I’m playing it live.

Why are you rendering HD video to NTSC DV? What is your final delivery format? DVD? YouTube?

Because you said avoid WMV, and I tried to render as mp4, but still the same result.

If your delivery target is YouTube ou should be rendering with the MainConcept AVC encoder using either the Internet HD 720p or Internet HD 1080p template.
