I am doing some simple corner pin motion tracking and keep getting this error “After Effects error: internal verification failure, sorry! {invalid index in indexed group}” It isn’t crashing my machine but I can’t close it and the only way to reset it is to turn off my computer, I am on a dual 2.7 G5 by the way. Does anyone know what this means???

    Thanks,
    Ryan

    I thought a G5 wasn’t an Intel Mac … 😉

Have you tried it with other footage?
    Footage on a different drive?

We’ll also need some more info:
    – footage specs: codec?
    – version of AE?

Well the footage is miniDV 24fps shot on an XL2, captured in FCP 5, I am running AE 7, in terms of other footage, no, but the crazy thing is, is I was doing a very similar task on the same footage yesterday without any errors, it just started this morning…Is it a computer error, AE error?

Hm. Can’t speak to the “then & now” difference, excpet that if nothing changed on your computer, are you low on RAM or Hard Drive space today? Maybe you should check RAM usage as you work … ?
