I made a this animated object (first pic) where this sea anemone- like object kind of sways from side to side.
I wanted to place it in this other project with an instance that zooms and rotates. I merged the first project file into the instance project (second pic). It looked fine.
Then as seen in the third pic, it deforms into more narrow spikes once I start to play the animation (and before I even get to place it inside the instance). Can anyone help me figure out what’s wrong and how to fix it?

I would guess it has to do with the space that the shader is working in to create the deformation, but it may also be something you need to adjust in the MoExtrude.
