I matched my natural movements frame for frame. the backstep, lean, kick impact, foot/ground impact, and the turns are all on point in accordance with my natural video. it still looks off, but when I remove the video it looks like its in slow motion or something. any ideas? heres the 2 clips so you can see what I mean:

    ghosted over natural video

    animation only with sound

    any ideas?

    A few things I noticed:

If you go frame by frame it doesn’t seem that close matched. A lot of keyframes and speed curves seem off. For example the time it takes for you to backstep is at least 5 frames faster than the rendered.

Theres something off with the framerates too, it’s like you’re matching a 30fps footage with a 25fps render.

Also the difference in scale may tip your perception off.
