Animation Look
Interested in anyone’s ideas about how to achieve an animation look to live footage. If you’ve seen the (I believe) Charles Schwaub commercials with a talking head turned into animation, then that is on the right track only we don’t want it that severely animated. We’re looking for plug-ins for Avid, or After Effects or Boris that would achieve this.

Boris Continuum Complete has a cartooner filter that you can dial in to taste. Seems to work pretty well.

There’s also Toonit. A 2.0 version is going to be released at NAB with more features.

Aura’s cartooner was awesome too.
still my favorite stroke recorder of all time, including contimuum.
