    Team, I have given Vegas 10d a try…

Has anyone Noticed that the effects options no longer let you scrub the time-line? I mean how do you know where to attach your key-frames for the effects if you can’t see the timing when you scrub the bar? My preview monitor no longer moves when I slide in the effects window.

Also, has anyone noticed the severe drop of GPU usage on the video cards?
    I tried Vegas 10a and now 10d.
It has gone from 40% down to 4%
    Seems laggyer too now…

4th try Vegas should work better not worse….

I don’t know about GPU usage, but for the keyframing you may have accidentally switched off Cursor Sync in the keyframe area of the effects windows. Look at the left-hand end of the keyframe area and you’ll see a small I-beam cursor and padlock icon. That toggles keyframe/timeline cursor sync on and off.

Edit: just realized that (in Movie Studio 10 at least) the Sync Cursor option only enables/disables Timeline to effect window sync. Effect window to timeline sync seems to be permanently active. Maybe that’s what has been deactivated on your system?

Figured it out… directx had an update that Microsoft chose not to install as regular updates…. fixed the problem…. now only if I could find my copy on 10c…
