Gudday! What a great forum, thanks to everyone for contributing. I’m new at this so forgive my ignorance. I’m trying to move an object, hav it pause, then move again. How do I do this? I know how to make it move, place the keyframes, etc. But when I try to make it pause I have problems as it just continues on to the next keyframe. If I place another keyframe say 30 frames out but don’t move the object, the onject wobbbles in space. Please help.

    Dale,

You need to create 2 identical keyframes at 2 points on the timeline where you want the stop to occur. Then you will need to go into the FCurves and select the 2 keyframes and select Clamp…this should stop the moving about.

Another option would be to set the keyframe where you want the object to rest to step interpolation.
