Animation along path
Hi All,
I have a path created in AE, is there a way to make a lens flare (solid with an effect on it) correspond / follow it?I do know how to use it for whoosh effects, text animation etc.
Must i have a property within the effect itself that calls for the path name? or is there a common way of doing it?

It’s pretty straight forward, try, copying the keyframes from your path (Mask Shape if it’s a mask path, Position keyframes if it’s positional), then paste them into the Flare center. Now the flare will follow the path. Yu might have to grab that last pasted keyframe and drag it left or right, as the path always comes in as 2 seconds long.
