This is kind of a technical question about achieving a certain aesthetic.

Take a look at this link: https://imgur.com/Puwdphx

I’m just wondering what the best way to go about achieving this very fluid look would be. It’s so dynamic in the way the objects move and little chunks fly off as it’s sliced.

Is it done by simple, careful keyframe animation of solids?

Or, are there some kind of physics plugins involved?

Any insights or tutorial links would be greatly appreciated.
