    Hey All,

been playing around trying to replicate a look i’ve seen a lot lately. Basically, trying to animate the stroke on a text layer, while keeping the whole process procedural to make replication of multiple comps easier. I’m essentially trying to replicate what you would get if you created outlines from your text and applied the stroke effect to the created masks, just trying to avoid that conversion from text to mask every time.

Not sure it’s possible or not, maybe better served tackling in Cinema and tracing splines. Any input is appreciated, thanks!

To get the same look, no way around creating strokes that I can see.

To get a similar look, a radial wipe mask or other animated mask of some kind with two instances of the text, one of which is expanded a bit thicker.
