    Hi,

I have an animation to build where the camera follows 5 lines from left to right through a composition from left to right, encountering various illustrations / animations as it goes along.

I need to have the ability to zoom in and out of these lines and also keep the camera on the move the entire time (the total duration will be about 3 minutes).

I am currently building one large comp several thousand px wide which I am moving in a seperate comp, although this appears to have its limitations (e.g. After Effects not liking massive comps)

Can anyone recommend the best way to animate these strokes (3D Stroke? Shape Layers with trim paths?) and any ways of keeping a 3 minute continuous move manageable?

    Any ideas appreciated,

    Thanks,

    T.

After you storyboard your animation, find the best points where you can cut your animation in pieces. Work on manageable projects that can be then cut together to create the impression of one continuous movement.
