    Hi,

Can anyone point me in the right direction to animate stills with that kind of 3D look?

By the way, I added a post on the Magic Bullet forum 2 days ago and still had no reply… Is there anyone proficient with Opticals from Magic Bullet that could help me ou?

    Thanx

Just make the stills 3d layers, offset them in Z space, add a camera, put in some position keyframes for the camera, and there you have it.

Thanx. Maiby I didn’t make myself clear. I meant 3D look with in one picture, Like we see in so many documentaries these days, as when you zoom into the picture the prespective changes.

    Thanx

okay I get what you mean now-

Check out this old fourm post:

Or try a search for the posts for “The kid stays in the picture”.
I remember reading on here that that was the name of the documentary that popularized that effect

The Kid Stays in the picture is a great example of AE using “2.5D” (as opposed to 3D)

Do a search on line for “2.5D” and “2 and a half D.”
