  animating shapes in 3D

  hi, when upgrading to CS3 i was really looking forward to getting my hands on the shape layer features. i always wanted to be able to make eg lines that point from a text to an object. when the position of the text and object changes, the lenght and angel of the line changes. that’s all easy now, but only in 2D. i tried to animate a shape with 3 points so that the z-position of one of the points changes individually, but it seems it can’t be done? or am i missing something?
