Animating dots with paint effect
Hi folks,
I need to add loads of dots to a face (chicken pox) as they they’re all popping on from nothing to loads over a couple of seconds.
I can add the dots in paint effect (though they’re not great) but as they’re all single dots, can’t seem to use the path option to go from none to 100’s of the blighters.
Any idea how I can manage this? The suite I’m in has Boris and Sapphire FX as AVX – then basic installs of Photoshop and AE. No other options sadly (and no option to install anything new).
Really appreciate some help here.

Paint em in photoshop, then track em and animate em in AE.
