    Hello,

I’m new to the forum so bear with me.

I’m trying to animate a still image to turn into a sphere. I’ve been messing with CCSphere for a while and to no avail. CCSphere just takes the layer and automatically turns it into a sphere, where what I want to do is SEE the image turn into a sphere. I’m on a deadline and I need help fast, any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi,

3D Warps from Zaxwerks would do the trick and more.

    Here is an example:

The CC Sphere and Cylinder filters do not have wrapping settings. I do not use Zax products but the Boris 3d filters used to have variable wrapping. Zax and Boris both offer trial versions of their toys.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

i tried a few effects and i found a way to do this. its not the best way and you cant even rotate the sphere after forming but it will do what you said.
Im talking of “Optical Compensation” , keyframe the field of view to get this effect.
