    Hello,

I’ve been given a project to highlight cities around the world on a map, with movement from city to city. I know this is quite basic to the experienced AE animator, but I was hoping someone would be willing to offer a few tips or tricks to a newbie. I had thought of creating the continents on one layer and then creating a basic textured background for the water areas on another and try to give it some sort of 3-D type look utilizing a camera efx. Any ideas? Also, does anyone know of a good source for vector based map graphics (free possibly)?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Julie

    Hey ,
If you have a big wallet I suggest you get a plugin called Conoa Easyshapes it helped me a lot in animating my earth.. 🙂

and about the textures.. just look in google for “Earth Textures” it should give you a whole lot of earth maps to download in really good quality.

    any more question ,reply .
