  • animating a circular mask to reveal a portion per frame – Countdown related

hey guys – hope this isn’t a repeat of thread posted previously.

but I am looking to find out if there is an automated way to automate a reveal through the use of a circulare mask.

In a nut shell I am trying to create a countdown but instead of using a ticking identifier, I have one circle over another and the idea is to have the top circle reveal a ‘triangular’ wedge each frame until there is it reveals everything. IE if there are 24 frames in the second, the circle is split up into 24 wedges with each wedge being displayed until the end the new second in which it resets again… the same with 30 frames etc…

The last time I did this I hand animated a very ugly mask but have since lost project and files, so if there is a plugin I can buy or a trick I can use, I’d really appreciate it.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

Or use Stroke or Vegas to create the line with a mask.
