Animated Strokes
How are these animated strokes done? I see animations like this all the time but I’ve never understood how to do it. I need to create a propelling path in 3D space.
Watch from 0:21 – 0:36 below for a good example.

There are several ways, but the one that I like best is to create your graphic, then draw a mask down the center of each element that you want to reveal, and then apply the Stroke effect. You can animate the Stroke effect to reveal the graphic. Just choose Reveal Original Image from the Paint Style menu.
