    Hello everyone:
I am looking to make a light effect but cant find a good tutorial on it. What I am trying to do is that light effect similar to the Mac screen saver called “flurry”…also Windows Vista has a similar one. It is that effect that looks like a single spot of color and has a long tail of light animated to the movement of the color spot..like the old iPod commercials!!!where the light was drawn by their iPods! Any ideas on how to make this?
    Thank you,
    Rafael.

    Jake:
Thanks for replying. Yes, I found that tutorial, but it requires buying a $299 plugging…is there a way of achieving the same effect (or something similar) with the components already included on After Effects?

    Rafael.
