I have a full length doc made in FCP. Have output a self-contained quicktime movie, and made MPEG-2 with it, and built burned DVDs using DVD Studio Pro. My specs on output MPEG-2 were CBR 6.9. Problem comes because I have some still photos (JPEGs) that are very very simply animated — they just push a little. But some of the stills have gone bad … they bitmap, turn into weird squares. I have another friend who has had the same problem, he resorted to redoing all of his stills in AfterEffects and putting them back into the movie and starting the whole process from scratch. His MPEG-s specs were 2-Pass VBR so that doesn’t seem to be the problem.

Is there any other option for me other than redoing my animations in AfterEffects?
