I had these scrolling credits created by an animator, and they are jittery when I put them into my FCP 7 timeline. I have exported just the credits as a quicktime video and they can be viewed at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZhtQHvzQ74&feature=em-upload_owner

As an independent file, they look good, but not when it goes into the FCP. I have read many posts about similar issues, but am wondering if there is anything I can do in FCP without going back to my animator and asking her to make changes.

-same frame size as rest of the video footage
    -the compressor is “animation”
    -Field dominance is “upper (odd)

    Many thanks!

Try it in progressive instead of interlaced.

Do the frame rates match? Animation and sequence?
