Animated gif video track – randomly disappearing
I have an animated gif of a flying dragon that I put into my video and extended it the length of the video and during preview the animated gif RANDOMLY disappears for a couple seconds at a time!!! it’s NEVER done that before and now RANDOM disappearing and in rendering too!!!

Sound like a rendering bug. Try rendering the GIF to QuickTime Animation format and use that instead.
