    Hi guys and gals!

I’m working on a project to re-create the Dr Who intro. I have designed a 3D phone box in AE and have also made a Vortex in a seperate comp.

Is it possible to use the Vortex layer in 2d and have the 3d phonebox on top? Whenever I put the vortex background in the phonebox comp it treats it as a 3d layer.

    Thanks in advance!

    J

make both comp precomp, then turn on 3d phonebox’s collapse transformation button and make it 3d layer again.. then you can play around the layers as you want. that’s it
