Animate text size per character without affecting the tracking
The top text is the one I animated, basically each letter is just scaling up from 50 to 100%. Since there is only an Animator for “scale” and not “font size”, this is what happens. Each character has his own anchor point and the tracking is super wide for the small letters. I tried to have a tracking animator at the same time, but the spacing would look very odd and unnatural. When changing the “Anchor Point Grouping” to “Word”, the letter just jump from their beginning position into the final position, without affecting the rest of the text, also making it look very unnatural. I just want the very simple result which I recreated in the lower text, but animated.
Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem? I feel like there should be a very simple solution for this, but maybe I’m thinking too far 🙂 -
