Animate letters to blow/drift into position
I’m looking for a tutorial or reference how to animate text to drift into place, bit like leaves falling to the ground shot from above. There should be some 3D effect but not too much – some spin on the letters on all axes.
Using AE CS3, and I have Particular available.

I’m pretty sure that there’s a Text Animation Preset that does something like this. Take a look into the Organic or Miscellaneous categories. It’ll give you a good headstart and then some tweaking to ocmplete it.

Yar. You will want to have all of the Text Animation resources in front of you as you try to figure out how to apply animators and adjust their numerous settings. These are is not particularly difficult but they are less than readily apparent. Have the manual open, the online help system open, and the AE Community Help up on the Web.
