The effect I want to do is one you’ve all seen. It’s where a graphic (logo) or text animates on with a strobe or flashing effect and also changing postion. Like it will flash 3 times but all in different locations. Is this a preset or is it all manually keyframed? I’m just wondering if there is a easier way to get the random results and what is the best way to do it.

    -Thanks.

have you looked at the text animation presets?

    go to Help>Animation Preset Gallery

there is a bunch of them, and you can see them in action before you apply them to your layer

If it’s not there, and you’re looking for a specific effect, it’s better to post a link…
